March goes out like a lion. We have had snow here to-day, sheep and lambs are in the shed instead of out grazing and skipping in the spring sunshine. Oh when will this winter end.
As Promised some pictures of lambs, but thisone is rather confused as it seems to think the dog is its mother,

March comes in with the start to Lambing, The weather is good as it is dry,but there is no grass to turn the sheep out onto. It is a busy time of year, with the lambing and getting ready for the season with the cheese makeing. As soon as I have a few pictures of lambs I will put them on.

The Day The Sheep Lost Their Wool
24 June 2009
To-day was a busy day, besides putting the cheese orders together for the customers it was also shearing day. Jason and David got the sheep in and rolled the wool whilst Mark ans Islwyn sheared the sheep. I did the cheese and got the lunch.

We didn't win. David and Jason had a lovely day up in the presentation at the Bluebird Resturant, London. The three cheeses that got through to the final were Caws Cerwyn, Oak Smoked Cerwyn and Mature Cerwyn.
June has arrived and the first few days have been Flaming hot, but I am not complaining. Most farms are busy on the silage but we are an upland farm so we don't get our grass untill later in the year so won't be on silage untill end July begining of August.
We have been busy getting ready for the Summer by making lots of cheese and had a fairly busy easter and whitsun. Now we are awaiting orders from the web page for Fathers Day 22nd June.
We have just heard that three of our cheeses are through to the final of the tesco cheese challenge. Will let everyone know if we win in about a weeks time.
Weather starting to get warmer are we going to have a lovely summer or not that is the Question?
The weather is lovely,David and Jason are up the field chopping up some wood.I am in the house catching up with paper work and trying to shake of my cold.
I almost lost my voice on the last night's performance of the Haunting of Harold. The performance went well a pity the audience wasn't bigger.
Another week passed us by, I have been busy practising for my performance on the stage at Clarbeston Road Memorial Hall, in The Haunting of Harold on May 7th-9th. 7-30pm
David and I went to London to see the Welsh Male Voice Choir in the Albert Hall on Sat 25th April and then we did the tourist bit on Sunday and took a bus trip around London and saw some of the Marothon.

This week looks like a farming week David is chain harrowing today, and then in the week he or Jason will be rolling a busy time of the year to keep the land looking tidy.
David has had a good week so far, two days of playing with his wood processor and now a day in Crymych mart selling the old sheep.
It must be spring as David is talking about spreading fertilizer. The sheep have almost finished lambing and yes the sun is shining today anyway.
